Jessicaca By Suzy Blackledge

Jess isn’t have a great time lately. She has the most boring job in her company, her boss tries to place blame on her every chance he gets, and she’s just had to sack one of her best friends. Mature, handsome and ever so enticing, Jess starts to think he might be the solution to a lot of her problems. The only issue is he’s younger. MUCH younger.

My Thoughts:

If you want a really funny book then I would suggest this one, you will laugh out loud and the story line is just brilliant, all the characters are ones that you feel as though you know. I couldn’t believe this was a debut novel as it is really good. I will looking out for more of this author’s books in the future.

The Curious Touch of Cupid’s Son: An Erotic Comedy Between Two Consenting Demigods By Dave Diotalevi

The Curious Touch of Cupid’s Son: An Erotic Comedy Between Two Consenting Demigods By Dave Diotalevi

Karl Sparks knows everything about love except how to fall in it.

He also doesn’t know who his mother is, doesn’t know who his father is, doesn’t know why he has an obsession to define love, and doesn’t know why he can’t get an erection–nope, never had one.

What he does know it that his touch–however slight or incidental–rockets any woman into the most intense and dizzying orgasm or her life, whenever and wherever it launches (a Midas-touch curse he would do anything to be rid of).

Happens 100% of the time–that is until he literally bumps into Aurora (Rory) Sky, who does know who her mother is (she thinks). Karl’s touch has no effect on her, and to her surprise, the unnatural ability she’s always owned of infallibly controlling men through her verbal commands fails to faze Karl.

Her presence does give Karl his first erection.

She, unable to trust any of the men she mystically dominates, and he who can’t touch women–shouldn’t these two misfits who only fit each other find romance? Fall in love? Get intimate? Become lovers?

They discover secrets about themselves and each other in a series of laughably lusty adventures to find the three pieces of The God Prism, a mythic relic capable of lifting their cursed abilities.

The unwitting lovers’ passion deepens until it’s ultimately tested by a selfless choice of sacrifice and devotion.

My Thoughts:

This book comes with a warning for mature and fun loving adults over the age of 18. I didn’t know what to expect when being asked to read and review this book. I knew it would a romantic comedy with naughtiness if you get what I am saying but it was a book that made me blush quite a few times, it is a very erotic read which I don’t normally go for I just liked that it was a romantic comedy. It is a pretty funny story line involving Karl, when he touches women they orgasm, he goes on a pretty intense but really funny journey. I think some people would be put off by the amount of erotic content, put that aside the story was funny and silly that is what made me read on.

My Thoughts:

After reading the first book in this series I couldn’t wait to read this one. I enjoyed this one even more as there are more laughs along the way. This book can be read as a standalone but I honestly can say you will want to read them all. I found the story line very imaginative and exciting. It definitely cheered me up.

Love Connection By Camilla Isley (Book 1)

Love Connection By Camilla Isley (Book 1)

book 1

Have you ever wondered what might have been?
Gemma is at the airport, staring at two plane tickets to two different cities. Two different weddings. Two different futures. She’s at a crossroads.

Be maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding or crash her ex’s?

Gemma’s decision, unknown to her, hinges on a delayed flight and a chance meeting. Now her life is about to go down two parallel tracks–will Gemma fly toward a life with her first love or a future with a man she’s not even met yet?

In concurrent storylines, Gemma lives out the consequences of each journey. Different stories unravel with unpredictable outcomes for Gemma and her loved ones.

My Thoughts:

This is the first book in the series, they can all be read as a standalone though. I found Camilla has a way that she manages to connect with her readers and her writing is really thought out. In this story we meet Gemma and the chapters switch from her going to her best mate and also her going to her ex. I loved getting to know the characters and look forward to the next instalment.
