Cape Cod Promises: Love on Rockwell Island By Bella Andre and Melissa Foster

Cape Cod Promises: Love on Rockwell Island By Bella Andre and Melissa Foster

Fall in love on Rockwell Island… Sink your toes into the sandy beaches at the heart of Cape Cod Bay, where family comes first, good friends are around every corner, and true love is waiting beneath the stars.

Trent Rockwell has it all—a thriving legal practice, coownership of the Rockwell Resort, and a big, loving family. And yet his failed marriage to Reese Nicholson has haunted him for ten long years. Now that he has moved back to Cape Cod Bay to help run his family’s resort, he is surrounded by memories of Reese…and he can’t stop longing for the woman he’d always believed was his one true love.

At nineteen, artist Reese Nicholson was swept off her feet by the handsome, charming, and incredibly sensual Trent Rockwell. After a whirlwind courtship, they married and moved to New York City, where they hoped all of their personal and professional dreams would come true. But six months later, Reese returned to Rockwell Island brokenhearted and disillusioned.

For a decade, Trent and Reese carefully kept their distance. But all it takes is one accidental late-night encounter to immediately stir the desires they have both tried to bury deep. Powerless to resist the heat between them, every passionate kiss, loving caress, and heartfelt apology draws them closer together. So close that they can’t help but wonder if the promises they once made to love each other forever are still true…

My Thoughts:

After reading the first book in the Love on Rockwell Island series, I was so looking forward to catching up with the characters and to see what was going to happen next. It was brilliant, in this story we get to find out about the characters Trent and Reese’s love story I loved it so much as it is so heart warming and managed to read it in a day it was that good. I think the cover looks very really great and I just wanted to dive in.

Seaside Nights (Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers, Book 5) By Melissa Foster

Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She’s happy as can be, preparing the shop for its grand opening and renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over–love.

Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar at a local bar to escape the painful reality of his father’s deteriorating health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the window, and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song–and maybe even the rest of his life.

When Sawyer walks into Sky’s tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar–Sky–the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He’s honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile–but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle–only the battle she thinks he’s waging isn’t the one that threatens to tear them apart.

My Thoughts:

Melissa Foster’s books are fantastic, I literally cannot get enough of them. I love meeting up with the seaside gang it brings a warm fuzzy feeling to my tummy like I know them in real life. It’s weird huh? But anyways this book does not disappoint it has heartache, and some truly wonderful characters some old ones from previous books and some new. This story is certainly up there with books I have loved this year.I have loved and read all of Melissa’s books now and I can safely say that there is not one I have enjoyed but don’t take my word for it, see for yourself. I can assure you, you will be hooked.

Discovering Delilah ( Harborside nights Book 2) By Melissa Foster

Discovering Delilah ( Harborside nights Book 2) By Melissa Foster

After the death of her parents on the day of her college graduation, Delilah Armstrong thought she could finally follow her heart and come out to her closest friends, but the guilt of going against her parents’ beliefs haunts her. The feelings she has for her best friend, Ashley, are stronger than anything she’s felt before, but Delilah has never even kissed a girl, and fear stops her at every turn.

Ashley Carver promised herself that she would never again date another girl who wasn’t out, but that was before she met intoxicatingly sweet and sexy Delilah.

When another girl offers to teach Delilah the ropes, it changes Delilah’s whole world and gives her the courage to go after the only girl she really wants. But coming out isn’t as easy as Delilah imagined, and moving past her parents’ death and the feelings of guilt she is left with is even harder. The intense passion between Ashley and Delilah is too strong to deny, but coming together means risking everything.

My Thoughts:

As with all of Melissa’s books this story focuses on friendship, family and love, I loved Delilah in Catching Cassidy another one of Melissa’s books. This story shows how hard it is to come out that you are gay to your family and friends, but when your parents are drilling it in to you that it is wrong how would you or can you tell the the truth? I honestly don’t know how Delilah would be feeling but I wanted to give her a big hug, I feel like she had this big secret and that she was basically living a lie. I feel like this was an emotional story but so well written.

Healed By Love (love in Bloom:The Bradens) By Melissa Foster

Healed By Love (love in Bloom:The Bradens) By Melissa Foster

Nate Braden has loved his best friend’s younger sister Jewel for as long as he can remember, but between their age difference and his respect for Rick, he’s always kept his feelings at bay.

Now he’s back in Peaceful Harbor, and Jewel is no longer sixteen years old–but there’s an even bigger obstacle standing in his way. Nate and Rick joined the military together eight years earlier. Nate came home a hero, but Rick didn’t make it out alive.

My Thoughts:

Another fantastic read by Melissa. Melissa’s books are full of hunky guys, hot romances and the very strong women. In this story the main character is called Nate, who is 27 years old and he is an ex soldier with a bucket load of guilt and a secret love for his best mate’s sister.  Can they  find a way to conquer their fears and find the love that will heal both of their hearts together? I love the way that there is so much emotion that you can kind of feel what they characters are going through. Such an emotional story, you will feel like you have been on a rollercoaster, it is a tear jerker too as you discover the back stories. I was hooked from the start, definitely a book that will not leave me for a long time.

Cape Cod Kisses: Love on Rockwell Island By Melissa Foster

CAPE COD KISSES, Book One

When Quinn Rockwell left Rockwell Island a decade ago to build a shipping empire, he never thought he’d return to live on Cape Cod Bay–that is, until his grandfather summons Quinn and his four siblings to take over the prestigious Rockwell Resort. Quinn is already working fifteen-hour days, and the last thing he has time for is his grandfather’s demands. But on his first night back, when Quinn finds a gorgeous and carefree woman skinny-dipping in his favorite cove, he’s tempted to ignore his work for a while…and focus on her instead.

As a free spirit who follows her heart and her dreams, Shelley Walters is not the kind of girl to wait around for Mr. Right, so she heads to Rockwell Island for the honeymoon of her dreams–a solo honeymoon. Ready for a week of sun and fun, she never expected to meet a man like Quinn Rockwell.

Wealthy and intensely driven, Quinn is everything Shelley swore she didn’t want. Refreshingly spontaneous and a true romantic, Shelley is everything Quinn never knew he needed. Drawn together despite their differences, during a week of sizzling-hot passion and deep conversations, they fall head over heels for each other. But when their perfect week on the island is over, will their love survive in the real world?

My Thoughts:

This is the first book in the Rockwell Island series. This book is written by Melissa Foster and Bella Andre but I wouldn’t of guessed if I hadn’t of known. I thought the Rockwell family were lovely and I can’t wait to get to know them all better. This is a love story at it’s best, there are some steamy scenes but I think that just adds to it, there are also lots of romance and lots of laughs. It is such a feel good book. I am hooked and I can’t wait for the next book, also will be looking out for some Bella Andre books.

Catching Cassidy By Melissa Foster

Catching Cassidy By Melissa Foster

catching cassidy.jpg

Wyatt Armstrong never imagined that instead of celebrating his college graduation, he and his twin sister would be dealing with the death of their parents. Then again, Wyatt had never been one to think past tomorrow. He heads to their summer home in Harborside, Massachusetts, with his best friend Cassidy Lowell in tow, to deal with his parents’ death and to try to figure out his next step.

.
Six foot two, infuriatingly handsome, and flirtatious, Wyatt Armstrong has always been there for Cassidy, helping her pass her classes and fend off unwanted advances, while driving her insane with his one-night stands–but that’s what best friends are for, isn’t it? Having each other’s backs. There was never any doubt that she would accompany him to his family’s summer home–but she never expected to begin seeing Wyatt as more than a friend. Or has she been ignoring her feelings all along?
.
It’s impossible to ignore the sizzling heat between them as Wyatt and Cassidy get even closer, but Cassidy knows Wyatt’s past, and she has a real job to begin in the fall. Wyatt may be a sure thing for the summer, but Cassidy needs more. For the first time in his life, Wyatt is forced to look toward the future if he doesn’t want to lose the one woman who’s shared his past and owns his heart.

My Thoughts:

This book follows the story of twins Wyatt and Deliah and their childhood friend Cassidy. They have to deal with a complete blow, which forces them to do a lot of growing up very quickly. When life doesn’t turn out the way you planned it, it is great to know you have brilliant friends there to help you out. I a big fan of Melissa’s books but I have to say I thought this one was my favourite book.

My Thoughts:

Once again I cannot fault Melissa Foster. She produces fabulous read after fabulous read. In this book there is a deep story about the two main characters called Amy Maple and Tony Black. The story is full of misunderstanding, love, loss and forgiveness. This is such an amazing and beautiful story that you just won’t want to put the book down. I really look forward to Melissa’s next book.

My Thoughts:

I dare you to read a paragraph of this book and not be hooked. I love the way Melissa writes with such emotion and passion, This is a book with a fantastic story, very hot characters and steamy love scenes. Even though this book is part of a series I like the fact you can read it as a standalone but believe me once you have read one of Melissa’s books you will want to read all of the others. Seaside Sunsets (Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers, Book 3) By Melissa Foster

Seaside Sunsets (Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers, Book 3) By Melissa Foster

Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and determine if she is living life to the fullest or missing it altogether.
For the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world, billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape and spend time with his elderly grandmother–and falling in love is not in his plans.

From the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused Jamie can think of little else than sensual, smart, and alluring Jessica, and Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie’s business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he proves that the blond beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning Jamie’s life–and his heart–upside down. In a world where personal information is always one click away, Jamie must decide if he should trust his heart or watch the woman he loves walk away.

My Thoughts:

I love Melissa Foster books. I can’t get enough of them. I love the act it is all set in America and some of the places that are mentioned are where I went to not long ago on a holiday. The moment the two main characters Jamie and Jessica meet, you can tell he is not on the look out for love. I loved this book as much as all the other ones I have read. It is a decent storyline and it is steamy in places, but I think that is what makes Melissa’s books my favourite of all time.

Flirting With Love (Love in Bloom: The Bradens) Contemporary Romance By Melissa Foster

Flirting With Love (Love in Bloom: The Bradens) Contemporary Romance By Melissa Foster

IN FLIRTING WITH LOVE…

Elisabeth Nash has spent years dreaming of returning to the small town of Trusty, Colorado, where she spent summers with her favorite aunt. When she inherits her aunt’s farmette, she closes her Los Angeles pet bakery and pampering business, sure that life in Trusty will be as peaceful and as welcoming as she remembers. But being an outsider in the close-knit town proves to be very different from the happy summers she remembers from her childhood–and falling for Trusty’s hot, wealthy, and sinfully irresistible veterinarian, Ross Braden, sends the rumor mill into a frenzy.
.
Ross Braden learned long ago that gossip spreads faster than weeds in his small hometown, and Ross loves nothing more than his privacy. For that reason, he doesn’t date women who live in Trusty. But that was before blond, beautiful, and refreshingly honest Elisabeth Nash flew into his vet clinic seeking help for her panicked piglet and turned his comfortable life–and his heart–inside out.
.
Despite rumors about Elisabeth’s motives toward her aunt’s property, passion brews between Elisabeth and Ross. Every steamy kiss and every sensual touch brings the pair closer together, and when Ross helps Elisabeth try to fit into the town he adores, it makes their bond even stronger. But even Elisabeth’s efforts toward reaching the community, and the love she and Ross so desperately believe in, might not be enough for the protective small town to offer them a future.

My Thoughts:

Melissa Foster books never fail to provide a fantastic story. In Melissa’s books, she always has a strong male and female main character and they do get quite steamy in parts of this book. The plot is great and I love the fact that Elizabeth has to take over her aunt’s farm and the fact that the local veterinarian is a bit of a dish. I am a animal lover, so this book I found was really heart warming. If you have read Melissa Foster’s books before, you certainly will love this book, if you haven’t what have you been doing. Brilliant stuff!!
