My Thoughts:

I had heard of Liz Fenwick but had never read any of her books, now I am not sure why I hadn’t read any as I fell in love with this story. The cover looked great and I couldn’t wait to get started. The plot is an emotional one but it is portrayed so well. I love reading a good book where you can just pick it up and put it down but still remember what is going on.

I loved the fact at the end that the cabin is actually a real place, so one day I would love to visit and I really liked the photos of the different places at the back, it is such a clever idea. I will definitely be looking out for more of Liz Fenwick’s books as I thought this one was brilliant.

My Thoughts:

I was given an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. I have to say I found it fairly hard going. I think it would probably be best to read whilst on holiday or time away from work and other things, as I just couldn’t really get in to it. I liked the plot but I only finished it as I wanted to see what happens, there are some twists and turns and the ending is good but for this book, I would recommend reading on holiday when you have a little more time to concentrate on it.

My Thoughts:

I treated myself to this book as I really love Abby Clements books. This one was just a fantastic read and I loved every minute of it. The plot may have been predictable but I still wanted to read on. I loved everything about this book, the characters were brilliant and I really warmed to Hazel. I loved Amber as I am a bit of a baker myself and I just loved how the story came together. I look forward to reading more of Abby Clements books in the future.

I got this as a Christmas present and I am glad I did. I love Jenny Colgan books as it is but this one was a bit different from what Jenny normally writes. I really enjoyed the plot which is about a group of nerdy mathematicians. They have to solve a strange sequence of numbers and try to work out what it is all about. A brilliant read. I loved it.

I loved this book, there is just something that I love about all of Emily’s books that are so comforting and warm that I literally get so excited about. The story is about a lovely place called Hideaway Down and the people that live there, this story was mainly based around Holly who I instantly warmed too immediately and I loved the sound of Gabriel too. It did add a bit of magic to my Christmas and I look forward to reading book two.

I was given this book for an honest review. Even though it is a thriller I was not left feeling excited about it. It was rather slow paced for me, there was poor translation too. But it was well written and the characters were really descriptive.

My Thoughts:

After reading the blurb of this book, I was very intrigued to start reading it. The story is set in 1686 so I enjoyed reading about that era and there are some really interesting characters. I liked all the different things that turned up for the house too. But I didn’t really enjoy it as much as I hoped I would, I just felt as if there were too many unanswered questions at the end.

My Thoughts:

This was such a brilliant and emotional read, Rowan tackles some serious issues in this book that I think some people will be able to relate to. I loved all the characters, I felt really sorry for Ellen and to see how she struggled day to day, but she got there in the end.

I loved Charlie and thought he sounded such a fantastic boy to help look after his mum and he did make me chuckle a few times too. This was a heart warming story that made me want to read it really quickly so that I could find out what happened to all the characters.
