When Lucy Jacobs is made redundant from her inner-city teaching job she fears her career is over. Teaching is all Lucy knows and she’s determined to get back in the classroom as fast as she can.
Except the only job on offer is at an idyllic village school in the middle of nowhere – Lucy’s idea of hell. Where are the disadvantaged kids who need saving, where is the challenge?
But as Lucy finds herself welcomed into the warm-hearted community of Langtry Meadows, she begins to realise new challenges await – like frogs in the classroom, a rather difficult donkey, and a very brooding local vet…
Local boy Charlie Davenport has his own issues about living in the close-knit village of Langtry Meadows. His private life is already fuel for the well-meaning gossips and the very last thing he needs is to get close to the new school teacher…no matter how lovely she is.
But as summer days drift away Langtry Meadows weaves its magic, Charlie and Lucy both get the chance to turn over a new leaf and start anew…maybe with each other?
I couldn’t wait for this book to come out, the cover is so vibrant and makes you think of the Summer. I definitely found I could relate to the main character Lucy, I felt as though I really liked her alot. There is a certain charm about the story as it is set in an idyllic country village. This is the first book in the series and I can’t wait to read the rest of them. Brilliant writing once again from an exceptional author.

Dashing eventer Rory is ready to button up his breeches and settle down. His gorgeous wife, Lottie, wants a bank balance in the black so she can protect the beautiful family estate for future generations.
But with the wedding business at Tipping House going up in flames, and rumours that it was arson not accident, Lottie begins to wonder who she can trust with her future.
Tranquil Tippermere is under siege as movies moguls and insurance investigators invade the countryside, and as events gather pace rescue plans start to look too good to be true, and intentions may not be as honourable as they seem.
As a moody, but definitely marvellous, polo player enters the fray and squares up to the eventing hero of Tippermere, does Lottie stand to lose her husband as well as her home?
Zara Stoneley is definitely one of my favourite new authors, I would recommend that you all give her books a try she is just fantastic. You will not be disappointed. I am glad to have been given a review copy of this book as I am recovering from an operation and it was lovely to have a book that was extremely funny with some very hot men thrown in. I love the fact that Zara also includes animals in her books especially horses. Brilliant story, I could re-read time and time again.

Welcome back to Tippermere for the wedding of the year…
Scatty but loveable Lottie Brinkley is famous throughout the village for her disorganised personality so when she steps up to plan the perfect wedding the only likely outcome is disaster.
When her globetrotting, love cheat of an ex, Todd, literally crashes the wedding on a not-so-noble steed, things definitely look set to take a turn for the scandalous. As rumours of why he’s back spread through the village quicker than the stable girl can drop her knickers, is Lottie’s future with sexy eventer Rory Steel about to fall at the next fence?
With a wave of unexpected pregnancies, steamy shenanigans in the hay and a farrier with more than shoeing horses on his mind, will Lottie ever be ready to take on the coveted title of Lady of the Manor and restore the Estate to its former glory?
As the heart of the village, Tipping House Estate, makes its move into the 21st Century, pulses start to race in a novel packed full of charm, hunky stallions (the guys that is), and a daring plan that just has to succeed…
Having previously read Zara’s last book Stable Mates I knew this book would just be as good. There is alot going on but it makes it an enjoyable read. There are dogs, horses, romance and studs, what more could you want? The main character is called Lottie who is going to become Lady of the Manor. I really liked the way Lottie manages to come up with a idea that works as they need to do maintenance to the Estate. There are some amusing parts to this story too, really enjoyed the story too. There are some cracking characters in this book and some hot men, you have been warned. Brilliantly written.
