My Thoughts:

This is the first book I have read by Joy Fielding and it certainly wont be the last. You know when you get a book and start reading and you just know you are going to enjoy it. How Joy writes is very powerful, I felt for Bailey as what she has gone through is unimaginable. How the story evolves I was thinking it was making her go crazy but is there something more sinister about to happen? There are twists and turns and you will never believe the ending. I didn’t want this book to end.

My Thoughts:

I received this book for an honest review. You can read this book as a standalone but to get some of the characters background I would suggest reading the first book Trouble is a friend of mine. I haven’t read it yet but it is definitely on my list to read. Zoe and Digby are friends somehow dysfunctional and irrational works for them I don’t know how but it does. There are a few characters that intrigued me Sloane was one of them. The plot was completely crazy but it worked. I will be looking forward to reading the next book as I was left wanting more from the ending.

I was excited to be able to read and review this book. It is a lovely heart warming story which I really loved especially just before Christmas. I loved the way Nicholas and the dog connect, it brought tears to my eyes. Such a wonderful story with lots of emotions.

My Thoughts:

Paige Toon’s books never fail to engage me. The cover is so pretty like all her book covers are, this was a story about triplets called Rose, Phoebe and Eliza. I haven’t read many books about triplets so that made me excited. There is a mutual love interest between the girls and you can see what is going to happen. Then something tragic happens and you see all the girls lives turned upside down. There is heartbreak, emotion, love and romance and Paige Toon brings it all together in a truly wonderful read.

My Thoughts:

After watching the film a while back and loving it, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the books. It took me a while to get my head around everything and everyone but once that was sorted I was loving it. The first couple of chapters are mainly information about the factions but trust me keep on going. I definitely enjoyed Divergent to the other two books.

Insurgent for me was a little bit irritating as it seemed to be all about self sacrifice, lover’s quarrels and a lot of backstabbing, kind of put me of it a bit.

Allegiant was a bit of a let down too as the ending wasn’t as good as I hoped for. Divergent was definitely my favourite of the books.

My Thoughts:

I was lucky enough to win a signed copy of this book. I like reading Cecelia’ s books as they are always so thought provoking and deeply moving. The story is about a young woman called Laura who has lived a solitary life but gets discovered by a documentary crew. Laura has an amazing ability where she can replicate sounds without knowing how and why she does it. Then a big show wants her on it and we see how she copes with life in the limelight. We see her through a range of emotions, sometimes I did feel sorry for her. I did enjoy the story.

My Thoughts:

When I had read the blurb on the back of this book, I knew I would be reading a very emotional story but I was prepared to read it as bullying is something that I am very aware of. I have been a victim of bullying, never as harsh as the girls were to Biddy who is the main character in the book but to an extent I could relate to Biddy. I felt so sorry for Biddy from what she has to go through but I knew in the end so she would be alright. The relationship she has with her therapist Terri is lovely and I am glad she manages to bring Biddy out of her shell. A  beautifully poignant cover.
