On the one hand, if Essie hadn’t written that letter – the one that only her best friend was meant to see – then she’d still be living like an actual proper grown-up, tucked up with Paul in his picture-perfect cottage, maybe even planning their wedding…

On the other hand (if her true feelings hadn’t accidentally taken the internet by storm, that is) she wouldn’t have moved into the attic flat on the square. She would never have met Conor. Or got to know Lucas…

And she wouldn’t have found herself falling in love with someone she really, really shouldn’t fall in love with…

My Thoughts:

I loved this book so much, it is a warmhearted read with lots of romance. There are a more than a handful of characters and some very interesting ones to say the least. I loved how Zilliah even though she is eighty three years old, she is still getting out there and giving some very deserved people that bit of happiness before their day comes. Such a lovely thing for her to do especially when the other characters pull together to help her out. A heart warming book that will have you wanting to snuggle up under a blanket.

I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.

This title will be released on January 12, 2017.

Love is in the air in St Carys, but you’d never know it – the people of this seaside town are very good at keeping secrets…

The man Clemency loves belongs to someone else. She has to hide her true feelings – but when she ropes in an unsuspecting friend to help, wires start to get crossed.

For the first time in Ronan’s life his charm has failed him in winning over the woman he wants. Loving her from afar appears to be his only option.

Belle seems to have the perfect boyfriend, but something isn’t quite right. And now a long-buried secret is slowly rising to the surface.

The truth has a funny way of revealing itself, and when it does St Carys will be a very different place indeed…

My Thoughts:

I am not sure if this is going to be the actual cover for this book as the book itself is not out till 12th January 2017. I was so excited to get an advanced copy of this book as I am really into Jill Mansell’s books. I loved this story, it is emotional, there are laugh out loud moments and there is romance. This is a story about Clemency, such an unusual name but she suits it. We get to hear her story aswell as all the other fantastic characters. I did predict what was going to happen in the end but I wasn’t expecting what happened inbetween prepare to be shocked. It was a brilliant read that I couldn’t put down.

Three amazing things about you By Jill Mansell

Three amazing things about you By Jill Mansell

Hallie has a secret. She’s in love. He’s perfect for her in every way, but he’s seriously out of bounds. And her friends aren’t going to help her because what they do know is that Hallie doesn’t have long to live. Time is running out…

Flo has a dilemma. She really likes Zander. But his scary sister won’t be even faintly amused if she thinks Zander and Flo are becoming friends – let alone anything more.

Tasha has a problem. Her new boyfriend is the adventurous type. And she’s afraid one of his adventures will go badly wrong.

THREE AMAZING THINGS ABOUT YOU begins as Hallie goes on a journey. A donor has been found and she’s about to be given new lungs. But whose?

My Thoughts:

Wow! what a book, I certainly didn’t want it to end. I loved everything about this book. It made me laugh and it made me cry.  The story involves three women called Hallie, Flo and Tasha and you see them go through problems I am sure most women can relate to. I loved Hallie who has Cystic Fibrosis, her story just made me cherish the life I have but it also taught me a few things about Cystic Fibrosis that I didn’t know. I loved the way she has set up her own problem page, some of the stories are sad. All the other characters including the women are brilliant. Really loved this book.

The Unpredictable consequences of Love by Jill Mansell

The Unpredictable consequences of Love by Jill Mansell

In the idyllic seaside town of St Carys in Cornwall, Sophie is working as a photographer and putting the past firmly behind her. When Josh Strachan moves back to St Carys to run the family hotel, he can’t understand why Sophie has zero interest in letting any man into her life. He also can’t understand how he’s been duped into employing Sophie’s impulsive friend Tula, whose crush on him is decidedly unrequited.

St Carys has more than its fair share of characters, including the charming but utterly feckless surfer Riley

Bryant, who has a massive crush on Tula. Riley’s aunt is superstar author Marguerite Marshall. And Jill MansellMarguerite has designs on Josh’s grandfather…. who in turn still adores his glamorous ex-wife, Dot… Just how many secrets can one seaside town hold ? Love has the ability to change people, sometimes for ever. And the consequences are impossible to predict.

My Thoughts:

I love Jill Mansell’s books, she is one of the authors i will actually buy. The characters always seem well drawn like you know them or could be friends with them. There are quite a few ups and downs in this book and a twist i did’t see coming, this story is definitely not a light read it covers deeper issues, but these are dealt sympathetically and made to feel like an integral part of the story. There are quite a few characters in the story but i came to love them all. Looking forward to Jill Mansell’s next book.
