If someone was in your house, you’d know … Wouldn’t you?

But the Hunter family are deaf, and don’t hear a thing when a shocking crime takes place in the middle of the night. Instead, they wake up to their worst nightmare: the murder of their daughter.

The police call Paige Northwood to the scene to interpret for the witnesses. They’re in shock, but Paige senses the Hunters are hiding something.

My Thoughts:

What a cleverly written story and so intense that when I wasn’t reading this book I was thinking about it. It gave me the chills wondering who the murderer was as I literally had no idea. There are all these suspects which you keep thinking yes it is them and then the author throws a curve ball and you suspect someone else. Paige Northwood is the interpreter for the family and even she gets mixed up in some of it. It will keep you guessing till the end and when you realise it will all make sense. This is an author to keep an eye out for as I am sure more good things are to come.
