My Thoughts:

I thought my readers would like a bit of light hearted entertainment from me. Yes this is a child’s book and no I don’t have any children and yes I decided to make my own family member of the Broccolis.

I liked the sound of this story and I love broccoli so decided to read this children’s book. I liked the bright coloured pictures and the style of font used both really seemed to bring the story to life. I’m not sure exactly what age this book is aimed at but I would say over fives would enjoy. But not being a parent i would not know. The ending shocked me.

My Thoughts:

There is just something about a Paige Toon novel that warms the heart. I have read all of Paige’s books and I can’t get enough of them, they are just so good and keep getting better and better. Hannah is the main character in this story, any one with that name gets my seal of approval as it’s my name too. I wanted to read on quickly but also want to read it slowly to saviour it. This is what happens with Paige’s books. You just can’t get enough of them. I look forward to devouring the rest of this story.

Three strangers with completely different stories makes for an intriguing storyline. You wonder how they will all fit into the last piece of the puzzle. Each chapter is a different person, all of the stories cleverly intertwine with each other, it really did keep me guessing till the very end. I wasn’t sure where this story would lead but the ending was very good.

The moment Joanna told me she was engaged, I had this awful feeling that something was wrong.

We used to speak on the phone every day. Growing up I spent more time at her house than I did at my own. I’d always imagined what it would be like to see her get married, and now I didn’t even know her fiancé’s name.

She asked me to come and meet Mark and I intended to tell her to slow down. You can’t know someone for a month and be sure that you want to spend the rest of your lives together.

When I got to Joanna’s front door, only Mark was there. He was charming and gorgeous and nothing but nice to me, and I started to understand.

My Thoughts:

If you want a thriller that is creepy, tense and full of twists and turns, this is the one for you. The suspense literally had me missing a heartbeat because I just couldn’t work out where this story was leading me. It made me doubt myself and had me had me hook, line and sinker till the very end. The ending really made this book and my eyes were on stalks reading the last couple of pages. Wow.

My Thoughts:

I loved this book so much, the story is centred around Aria. After a devastating loss she decides to pack up her bags and go to see where her life will take her. Aria has her lovely campervan which also is a book shop, which just sounds brilliant to me and off she goes. Reading about her adventures made me want to start planning some adventures of my own. The writing is very descriptive and makes you feel as though you are there in person. I really enjoyed reading about Aria’s adventures and I look forward to Rebecca’s next book.

What did she see?

My Thoughts:

I liked the sound of the storyline, it evolves around Anna and her claustrophobic world that she lives in. Reading this book I felt as though I was dragged into Anna’s world and I didn’t like it, it made me feel on edge. I didn’t guess the ending but it left me feeling a little deflated. There could of been so much more to make it a better story.

My Thoughts:

All of Cathy’s books are brilliant, this being right up there too. I immediately warmed to Gina, she is an inspirational woman who is very kind and caring. I liked how the other characters stories came up and how Gina helps them. I liked the storyline and wished for Gina to start believing in herself more. I look forward to looking where this tor y goes on the next book of Cathy’s. This book had me in tears but also had me laughing as some of the.children she looks after are hilarious, and Bing too is really funny. This is a must read.

My Thoughts:

If you want an escapism read that will have you laughing out loud, this is the book for you. The story centres around Bea, when life gets the better of her and she finds herself withdrawn, she when she really needs a boost, a unexpected letter turns up. It’s addressed to her but does she really want to open it? I love the storyline and I loved how involved she gets further on into the story. It made my heart all warm and fuzzy. I found quite a few laugh out loud moments especially the news story that poor Bea has to write about. I look forward to reading more of Olivia`s books.
