My Thoughts:

This is the first book in The Lighthouse Cove Series, all of the books can be read as a standalone. Grace has a lot of things going on in her life, she needs to escape them and with her son she knows this is the best thing for him too. When she finds a job on a small remote island, she hopes this will be the perfect chance to build her and her son’s life again. But someone does not want her on the island and he will do his upmost to send her away. Both have their secrets, can they find a way to help each other out and be happy ever after? it was one of those stories that you just don’t want to put down, I read it in an afternoon and fell in love with the characters and felt for what they had both been through. Kate has done a great job of the descriptions of the place. I felt as though I wanted to jump into the book and give Grace and her son a hug. I loved it.
