Reminders of Him By Colleen Hoover

After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself.

The only person who hasn’t closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna’s daughter. But if anyone were to discover how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna’s life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them.

The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past in order to build a future out of hope and healing.

My Thoughts:

I don’t know what it is about Colleen Hoovers books but I can’t get enough of them and just finished this one and had to buy three more. I feel as though they are very addictive and this one was just as good as the first two I have read. This one is all about Kenna who has returned to town where her daughter lives who she has not seen for a number of years. Bad things happened a long time ago that took Kenna away from her. Now she is back to rebuild her life and try and get to know her daughter. Also she meets Ledger and we see their connection grows and unfold. Will Kenna ever be happy again? There is much mixed emotions to contend with but also some happy parts. These books just are brilliant and if you haven’t read one, you really need to. I am hooked.
