Sirens By Joseph Knox

Sirens By Joseph Knox

I stopped going to work. I went missing. We still live in a world where you can disappear if you want to. Or even if you don’t.

Detective Aidan Waits is in trouble

After a career-ending mistake, he’s forced into a nightmare undercover operation that his superiors don’t expect him to survive.

Isabelle Rossiter has run away again

When the teenage daughter of a prominent MP joins Zain Carver, the enigmatic criminal who Waits is investigating, everything changes.

A single mother, missing for a decade

Carver is a mesmerising figure who lures young women into his orbit – young women who have a bad habit of disappearing. Soon Waits is cut loose by the police, stalked by an unseen killer and dangerously attracted to the wrong woman.

How can he save the girl, when he can’t even save himself?

My Thoughts:

So this story is about Aidan Waits who is a police officer gone bad. He is tasked at finding the local MP’s daughter who has gone missing but the MP wants to keep it quiet. Why? The start of the story is a little slow but we can gather much of our information here, the way Waits has become involved in the drugs world and other stuff about himself. I found it interesting learning about the drugs world and behind the scenes of the gangs that supply and deal them. I found this a dark and compulsive read and I can’t wait to read the next one.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. Thank you Joseph Knox for sending me a copy of your fantastic book.
