None of us ever agreed on the exact beginning.

 

Was it when we started drawing the chalk figures, or when they started to appear on their own?

 

Was it the terrible accident?

 

Or when they found the first body?

My Thoughts:

I just want to say how brilliant the cover of this book looks, the smudges of chalk really add to the atmosphere of the book. I was surprised this was a debut novel as it is really good. It is tense and creepy and you feel as though you are being watched by a chalk man reading it. A chilling read.
