I would like to say a big thank you to lovereading for sending me this book. This is a new addition of the same book published many years ago. Eva Ibbotson died in on the 20th October 2010 aged 85, I think these books are being published again to celebrate her life. I hadn’t heard of her before I had read this book, I am lucky enough to be reviewing all five of her books. I love the way Eva has written, you wouldn’t believe that the characters are all fictional. I could picture all the places Eva visits in this book as her descriptions of places is spot on. A very detailed story which is perfect to curl up with.
