My Thoughts:

WOW! What a book. I was hooked right from the start to the very end. I wanted to saviour this book so much I read it in a week. David has a way of drawing you in to his books that I find utterly irresistible. The main characters are Douglas and his wife Connie and their son Albie. I think people will be able to relate to these characters as David manages to write about personal problems that affect people in day to day life. This story is filled with sadness, joy and happiness. I just loved this book so much, I would definitely recommend it and I would put it in my list of my favourite books of 2014.
