My Thoughts:

The Dive is set on a beautiful paradise island in Thailand. It is a murder mystery where everyone on the island is a suspect and they all have something to say. When Cass takes her class out for their first dive no one was expecting one of them not to come back and one to be injured, but what is going on at that place everyone calls idyllic. I like how the story flowed with a great pace to it, I found everyone suspicious and didn’t know who to trust. I read this book in a day and couldn’t bring myself to put it down. I found all the twists and turns very cleverly done and the ending was full of drama and brilliant.

My Thoughts:

Another thrilling read by Clare. I love how unique Clare’s ideas are when she writes her books. They are all very different but they just seem to get better and better. This is part of the Dc FFion Morgan Series and I loved it. When reading you never know what surprises are going to be on the next page. It was tense, chilling, engaging, suspenseful and eerie. It is all about a game show that is shown on the TV. The contestants have to battle it out in return for their secret not to go out to the public. But when one of the contestants goes missing, will their secret be exposed or is something more deadly at play? I really enjoyed this story, I couldn’t stop reading, every chapter left me wanting more. The ending was incredible.

If your after a great read look no further, this is going to be a huge hit when it comes out. Saffy is the main character and she is bad ass, I liked her instantly, she is a serial killer and is trying to make the world a better place by eradicating all the bad men out of this world. There is a romance alongside the general fact of her being a serial killer. It is a twisty thriller that will set your pulse racing, it is a capturing read and even though it is a thriller, I found it really funny in parts. Such a great read that everyone will enjoy.

My Thoughts:

I loved the sound of this one and it certainly did not disappoint. It was every bit as good as I imagined it would be. Callie has come to Whitstable and is renting a beach cottage from a influencer called Vanessa which she had no clue to. Vanessa has the perfect life and Callie has longed to be in the same position Vanessa is in. But when the pair of them get close, Callie reveals that Vanessa is hiding something. Tragedy strikes when Vanessa’s son goes missing but is Vanessa the innocent party in all of this? it was a great nail biting read that had me on the edge of my seat in anticipation. There are a few twists and turns most of them unexpected but they had me gripped. The ending left me shocked. But I cannot wait to read more of Annie’s books.

I loved the sound of this book and it was a fantastic and eye opening read. Pip travels around the world to complete a challenge. Her and her team mates have to endure the rainforest and many other wild and treacherous obstacles. It was a interesting and knowledgeable read. I felt I learnt a great deal from Pip and what she has been through to overcome her challenge is very inspiring. I hope when people read this book that they feel inspired to go out and do something that they really want to do. It was such a fascinating story.

My Thoughts:

This book is set in the 1960’s and it was in a time where women and a career was frowned upon. It was interesting to read about what happened back then, Bonnie has researched it all very well. It is crazy to learn about how women should behave and that it was frowned upon that women could actually have a career. Women were expected to stay at home and cook dinner for their husbands. It was a very insightful and upsetting story but there were some funny parts to it too. The main character Elizabeth shows women that they can do whatever they want if they put their mind to it. It was an ok read.

My Thoughts:

Sloan is living a life that she should not be living but her only hope is the lifeline she has with her drug dealer boyfriend. He is not a particularly nice person and does what he wants, when he wants to her. He is completely obsessed with her and cannot ever imagine his life without her, he has trapped her with this one lifeline. When Sloan meets DEA agent Carter she instantly feels an attraction, he is there to bring down her drug dealer boyfriend but gets caught up in his feelings for her but he is here to do a job and her boyfriend is not someone you want to mess with. This book does come a with a trigger warning which you must read before you start as there are some very deep and sensitive issues that are talked about in the book. I was absolutely hooked on this book I read it in two days and couldn’t put it down. As soon as I had read about Sloan I felt committed to finding out if she was going to have a happy ending. She is such a fantastic character and I would have no clue what to do in her situation. I look forward to seeing what Colleen writes about next.

My Thoughts:

I have to just say how much I love the cover of this book, the colours are simply stunning and eye catching. This is the first book in the Maisie Cooper Series and it is a pure British cosy crime mystery that I couldn’t wait to get stuck into. When Maisie returns to her home town of Framlington, her brother said he was in need of her help but when she arrives she realises she is too late and that he has died. Maisie has lots of questions to ask surrounding his death and none of the villagers seem to want to talk. Everyone is suspicious and I was suspecting many of them. I loved how when I was reading the story, I like Maisie was trying to work out what happened before the end. It is a interesting story and I really like Maisie. I look forward to the book in the series with great anticipation.

This is the story about Nora and how one day seven years ago she took a walk into the woods with her daughter but only Nora returned. No one knows what happened on that day not even Nora. She knows something happened on that day and she is determined to find out what and why. After trying to rebuild her life with a new partner and child can she finally lay things to rest? I really love the intensity in the way Claire writes and holds the readers attention, I couldn’t stop reading this tense, suspenseful thriller. The pace is fast moving and when you think you might of worked it all out, there comes a twist. If you love a twisty thriller that will grip you then this is the book for you. I really recommend this one or any of Claire’s other books as they are absolutely brilliant.

My Thoughts:

Another intriguing book by Shari, I couldn’t wait to get started. I loved the suspense and intrigue on every page, you are not sure as the reader what is going to happen next or where the next twist will be. It is full of suspense and drama and I like how Shari writes full of description and having relatable characters is really good. It had a great pace to it which I liked and I couldn’t wait to find out what the ending was going to be, it was a great paced thriller and I look forward to Shari’s next book.
