The Traitor By Ava Glass

The Traitor By Ava Glass

LONDON. EARLY MORNING.

A body is found in a padlocked suitcase.

Investigator Emma Makepeace knows it’s murder. And it’s personal.

She quickly establishes that the dead man had been shadowing two oligarchs suspected of procuring illegal weapons in the UK. And it seems likely that an insider working deep within the British government is helping them.

To find out who the traitor is, Emma goes deep undercover on a superyacht owned by one of the oligarchs.

But the glamorous veneer of the rich hides dark secrets. Out at sea, Emma is both hunter and prey, and no one can protect her.

Never has the turquoise sea and golden sands of the Rivera seemed so dangerous.

My Thoughts:

I loved the sound of this book, it sounded dark, dangerous and full of adventure and spies. Emma is an investigator and in this book she has to investigate two people that are supposedly acquiring illegal weapons, Emma knows it is going to be a hard case to crack but she will do everything she can to bring these people down. But she is also in danger. This had a great pace to it, packed with lots of things going on, a bunch of mysterious characters that you don’t know if you can trust. I liked Emma and I felt as though she was a strong woman. A great high speed thriller that you can get your teeth into.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
