I don’t know what happened to my daughter. Only that she’s missing – and I was the last person to see her…
My name is Nora Logue. You’ve probably heard of me – most people have.
I am the mother of Daisy Logue. Seven years ago, I took her for a walk in the woods. Only I came out.
I have no memory of what happened that day.
I have tried to rebuild my life. Met a man, had another child – Luca. But I can’t let go of Daisy, or give up hope of seeing her again.
And now, I have the chance to find out what happened to her.
But what if pursuing the truth about my daughter risks my son’s life?
My Thoughts:
This is the story about Nora and how one day seven years ago she took a walk into the woods with her daughter but only Nora returned. No one knows what happened on that day not even Nora. She knows something happened on that day and she is determined to find out what and why. After trying to rebuild her life with a new partner and child can she finally lay things to rest? I really love the intensity in the way Claire writes and holds the readers attention, I couldn’t stop reading this tense, suspenseful thriller. The pace is fast moving and when you think you might of worked it all out, there comes a twist. If you love a twisty thriller that will grip you then this is the book for you. I really recommend this one or any of Claire’s other books as they are absolutely brilliant.
