William Wooler is a family man, on the surface. But he’s been having an affair, an affair that ended horribly this afternoon at a motel up the road. So when he returns to his house, devastated and angry, to find his difficult nine-year-old daughter Avery unexpectedly home from school, William loses his temper.

Hours later, Avery’s family declares her missing.

My Thoughts:

Another intriguing book by Shari, I couldn’t wait to get started. I loved the suspense and intrigue on every page, you are not sure as the reader what is going to happen next or where the next twist will be. It is full of suspense and drama and I like how Shari writes full of description and having relatable characters is really good. It had a great pace to it which I liked and I couldn’t wait to find out what the ending was going to be, it was a great paced thriller and I look forward to Shari’s next book.
